i used to be a person who listened to music and read books and went places. i used to be [semi-]interesting.
life has changed in many ways. of course, things [well, human beings - namely drew and emery and the new babe on the way] have been added that i wouldn't change for the world. they have enriched my world and given me purpose. but in the midst of life happening, i feel like some pieces of me have fallen to the wayside. and i am in desperate need of an awakening...

...it's been forever...

i'm blogging again! and even though i haven't blogged on this particular blog for over a year, i am now blogging on a new [and much more exciting one]. check it out - lullaby renditions.

...and we're off...

for the next week, i will take up residence here.
i've never been more excited. more pictures of costa rica to come.

...second time around...

last week, drew and i were able to sport the wedding attire again.
we were asked [rather randomly i thought] to participate in a photo shoot for an area coffeehouse.
it was almost completely natural to slip back into my wedding dress. after all, the first time i wore it, i didn't want to take it off. i never thought i'd get back into it. and while i wouldn't change my wedding, or the man i married for that matter, it was fun to have a second go at the whole "bride" feeling. thank you susie linquist for a fun shoot. alas, the winner was announced last week...and it wasn't me.



but i think there's a reason.
